Has anyone ever met him?

If so, what was he like?

I love Jesus Christ and am 100% proud!

I met him about 24 years ago. He was performing My Favorite Year on Broadway and I got his autograph after the performance. He was very nice to everyone. A lot of people had RHPS items for him to sign and he was very gracious about it.

I've met him 9 times over the years since 1993, and planning on #10 at the end of this month at Chiller Theater con. He's one of the most gracious, patient celebs I've ever met (and I've met many over the years). And I've met him in various circumstances: after 4 different live shows in NYC: My Favorite Year, twice during his run in a A Christmas Carol at MSG, Spamalot and at a Syfy Channel webcast at the Museum of TV & Radio (now the Paley Center). I've met him after an appearance on Regis and Kathy Lee, I've met him on the street where I used to work in NYC (he was staying in a building on the same block!), I met him on the set of Muppet Treasure Island (friend of mine worked on the film and invited me ot the set, and I also met him at the Broadway flea market in 2005 (last time I saw him in person).

He's got a great snarky sense of humor, has posed for photos with me and my family, and has signed all different things for me throughout the years. I can't say enough nice things about Mr. Tim Curry. I'm 39 now, I've loved him since I was 13 years old.

FRRRRRRRRRRUNKISSSSSSSS!

I have been blessed to spend time with Mr. Curry these past few months. He is amazingly sweet and has THE BEST stories. Loves boxing.

Gosh, I would feel privileged to even be in the same room as him! I probably would be so overwhelmed that I couldn't approach him. If I mustered the courage to get close, I would probably wet myself, hyperventilate, then faint.

He is one of the very few actors that would have that effect on me. The late (:( ) Alan Rickman is the only other that comes to mind.

And I would have never pegged him as a boxing fan! Interesting.

Would you please share how you have gotten to know him recently?

reply

Really? He likes boxing?! I never would have expected that!

He was very friendly and had a great sense of humor when I went to the opening week of Spamalot on Broadway. I absolutely loved it!

He is warm, very quick-witted, very intelligent, and affectionate. I have seen him harassed, but he blows through that rather quickly and moves on.
