Do you think he could give a brilliant performance if he was given a decent script?

Hard to tell. Maybe as a creepy villain.

reply

Not sure. Haven't see him act in about 30 years.

reply

yaa I think he could pull that off and given an outstanding performance. However as a major reintroduction to Hollywood I dont think it'd be a good image move to start off as a creepy villain

reply

Maybe a sitcom.

he's been on RLM quite a few times. based on just how he looks and acts he seems to have come a long way and is sober and looking healthy.

reply

I don't even know why I'm coming up with this... but if there was a Kid Rock's biography movie to come out, I think he'd fit right in the role and I'm sure he could put up a believable performance.

reply

I can see it.

Kinky.

Creepy Villain? Like the Good Son?

reply

Yeah, but actually being good in it.

reply

He's fun to watch on Red Letter Media, I think he could pull it off, not as a lead but a zany sidekick perhaps.

reply

Yes.

His character in Saved is pretty great. He's very funny and fully believable in that role. Also this sketch he did not too long ago is a look at his currentish chops. I think he's great:

I think his looks are what's going him back. His face gives him a limited amount he could play.

reply

I don't think he's interested in acting really anymore.

I could be wrong and someone correct me but wasn't he offered the Sheldon role in The Big Bang Theory and turned it down? Maybe he didn't want to do a sitcom, but I have got to think he's being offered at least smaller roles in big productions.

reply

I don't recall hearing that but I don't think he would have fit the role.
