Railroad Tiger is the next Jackie Chan movie !

During press conference at Far East Film Festival in Italia, Jackie Chan said next movie is Railroad Tiger.

Produced by China Film Group, the movie is a remake of 1956 "Railroad Guerilla" a war movie tells the story of coal miners and railway workers who joined a guerilla against the Japanese along the Lin-Zao railway line in Shandong province during the Anti-Japanese War.

Railroad Tiger should be directed by chinese director Ding Sheng (Little Big Soldier, Police Story 2013).

Filming scheduled next month, if all goes well.

Ugh, please no, not Ding Sheng. Find a better director.

Ding Sheng directed the best jackie chan movie in the last decade with Little Big Soldier. Police Stoy 2013 is a big drama under police plot, whose main fault is its editing (Too cut). Ding Sheng movies have the merit of proposing different Jackie Chan with a stunning visual. So, it doesn't bother me.

Wait and see...

Na, I find he has an itchy trigger finger when it comes to filming and editing... his quick cut/shakycam style comes off as really amateurish. Now I'm not one of those people who hates shakycam by default but I do think it's something that can either be used well or not so well, and Sheng Ding falls into the latter category for me. Little Big Soldier was actually good, but it could have been better had it been directed by someone else.

I agree that the editing of these films can be better indeed. This is his main fault because Ding Sheng edit his films himself instead of delegating editing.
Nevertheless, I like his vision and what he brought to Jackie Chan's movies. Better than Daniel Lee (Dragon Blade) for example... :/
