People saying Bruce Lee is better than Jackie Chan without a explanation

Jackie Chan is overall more talented than Bruce Lee Stuntman,Parkour,Freerunner,Martial Artist,Acrobat,Singer and has improved the fight scenes together with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao..Just because Bruce Leee is maybe a better fighter it doesn't mean that Bruce Lee is overall better than Jackie Chan people have to understand this
I mean to say Bruce Lee is better than him without an explanation in what he is better than him is ridiculous..If they would make a resultat who is overrall better of them both
it will be 1 : 5 for Jackie Chan end resultat with categorie's like Stunts,Acrobat,Parkour,Singer,Movies etc..I respect Bruce Lee he was great but some of his fans are dumb and brainless..

I agree with you, it was the furthest thing Jackie chan wanted to be and went out his way to create his own style

The arguments I heard were that Bruce Lee was amazingly fit, and a brilliant martial artist, certainly better than JC (surely no-one is arguing that point).

As for a better stuntman stunt co-coordinator/director/producer/comedian? No, Bruce is not better than JC. I can re-watch JC's peak movies from '78 - '94 many times over without getting bored because - for me anyway - they are amazing.

It is down to personal preference.
The thing is with Jackie as a filmmaker, he has had time to perfect his style of film making. Working his way up until he had 100% artistic control over his own films.

Bruce Lee never had the time to learn and perfect his craft because he passed away at such a young age. We can only imagine how his career would have panned out had he lived another 20-30 years.

As martial Artists I don't know. Bruce Lee was probably better due to the fact he understood and learned enough to form his own style of Jeet Kune Do so that probably swings it in his favour.

I really like the few martial arts films Bruce Lee made in the early 70's, but there are so few compared to Jackie Chans catalogue of films.
The Police Stories are my personal favourite Martial Art films ever.
