Simply Disgusted by Him

So, Michael Caine has joined the new bandwagon to denounce Woody Allen, stating he'll
"never work with him again."

My first reaction is, WHO CARES? I can live without seeing Caine in ANY movie at his age.

But the deeper issue makes me furious. Despite the continued LACK OF PROOF that
Allen "molested" Dylan (once is her claim), a nice handful of (mostly female) actors have
started the "We will never work with Woody Allen again" nonsense.

FACTS: child molesters molest over and over, and usually far more than one child is
the victim. Dylan claims it happened "once." Her own brother, Moses, disputes her story,
claiming he was there at the time and place she claims Allen did this to her.

Allen has been cleared of all suspicion twenty-five years ago.

Furthermore, Moses claims that Mia Farrow was an abusive mother and coached her kids
into stating Allen did this. COACHED. She is one, sick, angry lady.

I understand the hideous, soul-destroying aspect of child sexual abuse. But there are
also LIARS out there. In all these years, Allen has never been accused of molesting any
other child, nor have female actors come forth to say he harassed them.

Dylan's story is full of holes. If Caine believes such twaddle, and chooses not to work with
Allen again, that's his choice, but he should keep it to himself, rather than add to the
destructive mass that's already going on, thanks to assholes like Susan Sarandon, Ellen
Page, Greta Gerwig, and others. At least Alec Baldwin and Diane Keaton have stood by
Allen, because there simply isn't enough proof. Innocent until proven guilty.

That's sad news indeed. I have always enjoyed Michael Caine's work. I think he is a fabulous actor. He can do both comedy and drama.

He was so good in "Hannah and Her Sisters". He played a great creepy role in "Dressed to Kill".

I just don't get this "jump on the Woody bandwagon" of attack. Woody Allen's biggest mistakes seems to be that he got involved with a mental case like Mia Farrow in the first place. Sure she's talented and he liked working with her. But he should have stayed away from a personal relationship with someone so messed up.

But back to the "I'll never work with him again" statement. Has Woody Allen been calling Michael Caine to star in his next film? lol
