His mother lived to be 89, so that's a good start. He seems to have a loving family and a good outlook, which can be very important.

Cause we all know them old people don't actually like to leave the house, 'cept to swing that golf club. Maybe he actually still enjoys the job he's devoted 50 years of his life to.
As for his career, he's featured in the most anticipated film of next year (TDKR), was fourth-billed in THE most successful movie of 2008 (TDK), and had a good cameo in a Best Picture nominee (Inception). Yeah, I'd be shuffling off to retire too if I were him.
