Rick Heinrichs

Production designer Rick Heinrichs, whose known Burton since the 70s, is the true visual masterpiece behind Burton's films.
Rick was the Prod Designer for A Series of Unfortunate Events and Wolfman (2010), both of which are very similar to Burton's visual style.

It's true, the visually strongest Burton movies are the ones he collaborated with Heinrichs. - I think it's because they know each other for such a long time. Heinrich possibly knows exactly what's Burton up to with a project I think.

Still I also really love the work of Anton Furst on Batman and the amazing job Dante Ferretti did on Sweeney.

But let's not forget there's yet a lot of more important ingredients to make a true Burton movie: don't underestimate Colleen Atwood's costume design and Danny Elfman's music for the real Burton feeling. Also think of Burtons's longtime Keeper of Pacing, Chris Lebenzon, the editor.

Sometimes I wish he'd have a regular screenwriter too. - John Logan or John August perhaps.
