Fantastic Roger Ebert interview with Bronson from 1974!!

- "I'm only a product like a cake of soap, to be sold as well as possible".

- "It's just that I don't like to talk very much. Because I'm entertained more by my own thoughts than by the thoughts of others. I don't mind answering questions. But in an exchange of conversation, I wind up being a pair of ears. When I'm in public, I even try to hide. I keep as quiet as possible so that I'm not noticed. Not that I hide behind doorways or anything ridiculous like that, but I hide by not making waves. I also try to make myself seem as unapproachable as possible."

Here is a link to a super-rare Bronson talk show appearance from the early 70's with Dick Cavett that recently surfaced. Jill Ireland joins in as well. Such a revealing interview (40 minutes in 4 parts):

edit 9/4/20: Dang, look like it's been removed. Definitely worth seeking out, probably the only interview I've seen with Bronson that gives some insight to what his candid and unguarded personality may have been like. He was a funny, open, insightful, talkative guy in this interview.
