Uncut DEATH WISH II Blu-ray coming from Shout Factory.

The upcoming Blu-ray of DEATH WISH II from Shout Factory marks the first time that the uncut version will be available in the U.S. on a physical home video format. Streets 7/26/16.

I have this ordered already. I'm glad to hear it's the Uncut, which prolongs the rape scene. While I am not a fan of rape, the scene is nightmarish and lends itself to what is being avenged, later on. In the re-cut scene, involving Bronson's daughter who survived the rudimentary Jeff Goldblum high rise attack, leaving no Hope (Lange) in the process, it winds up being just one scene of many scenes but in the original, it was really something, very uncomfortable yet important, overall. So again, glad to hear this. Have the Shout Factory all lined up. Am waiting, waiting, and waiting.
