Going to meet Jeff tomorrow night!!!

So I will be going to his show tomorrow night in Anaheim. His band will be playing and while purchasing tickets I saw a VIP option with a meet and greet with Jeff so I HAD to pony up the $$$ for those!!! I have been a huge fan literally my entire life. I am 38 years old and have loved Jeff and his work since practically day one - starting in childhood with Tron and Starman and The Last Unicorn. Then onto my teens and young adulthood with The Fisher King and Fearless and White Squall... As the years go by I love and appreciate him as an actor more and more - Lebowski!!! True Grit. He is such a treasure. Can't wait to shake the hand of The Man himself! What should I say? I assume I will be so start struck I will make an ass of myself... Ah well, I bet Jeff gets that a lot and is totally used to it!

the show was great. jeff was awesome. what CAN'T this man do??? amazing actor, talented photographer, AND musician! and on top of all that just a sweet, grounded, super cool human being... the "meet and greet" was kind of a rip off though... i don't blame jeff. it was late and he had just performed his butt off on stage for a good two hours - and he is no spring chicken anymore. they basically just lined us up and gave us a few seconds each to shake his hand and say hi to him (i asked him if i could get a hug and he - with his jeff bridges blue eyes all twinkling - said "sure!" in that jeff bridges voice... melt) and then my husband (who is also a big fan) and i got our photo taken with jeff between us. he was very gracious and friendly and sweet. i just wanted a little more time than what i got! but i suppose if everyone in that line took the time they wanted poor jeff would have been there all night...

the photo is my new facebook profile pic of course!

Sounds great. I've been a fan for a long time and am about to go and see RIPD. I'm an ex DJ and love music of all sorts, but Jeff is a country boy in that area and it's not my thing. He does have a good singing voice, I'll give him that. If he ever makes a rock album I'll surely give it a listen. As for the meet and greet. I'm glad you got your pic, but I think it's wrong for the promoters to charge for something that just ended up being a few minutes to say hi and get a photo. But I'd love to meet him. He does come across as a genuine and sound guy. I've not heard a single negative thing about him. I'm glad you have a positive experience of him as well to pass on.

Here's your pic clickable, it's great.

You've got the Maude look going on which is cool. If I ever met him I'd probably ask him if I could call him The Dude just once lol.

Utah! Get me two.
