That's doubtful considering that when she was younger there was next to no internet (compared to what it is today) and back then porn wasn't quite the enterprise that it is these days. It was very underground. So, the only way anyone would have known was if she had told them.

Right, I think people didn't know. I had watched her films since she was a little kid - for example in Monkey Trouble and Hocus Pocus but never knew at that time. I read about this less than ten years ago - long after she appeared in any film of importance. Since then, up to ten threads have appeared here every year about this.

It didn't hurt her chances to become the Quaker Oats girl. The info probably made her the most popular girl in high school with boys standing in line for a date and girls who want to meet her boyfriends.
