Why hasn't Alec Baldwin been thoroughly exposed yet?
Like what happened with Harvey Weinstein, Les Moonves, Kevin Spacey, and Bryan Singer? Alec Baldwin is one of those actors whose career should've ended already due to numerous incidences surrounding his bad behavior. I mean Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen ultimately had to "pay" for their misconduct, but Baldwin seems to not have to suffer heavy consequences. I mean, that voice mail that he left for his daughter, Ireland should've been that, but somehow, he keeps getting chance after chance.
Plus, everybody knows that Baldwin was abusive towards Kim Basigner, but there isn't any hardcore, or detailed evidence of what he did during their relationship. So on that end, his treatment of women is still essentially "hearsay".
I've heard the theory that Baldwin has been able to survive so long because Hollywood believes that his liberal politics outweigh the bad. Another excuse is that Hollywood still offers Baldwin major gigs because of his status as a "funny actor" regardless of his otherwise horrible personality. I'm assuming that Baldwin has a lot of friends in high places (e.g. Lorne Michaels, Tina Fey, etc.) who are willing to go to bat for him.
