Well, irrespective of what he is like irl - and I must say I have no idea, not having met the man and not following the tabloids because, well, I have a life and a brain - 30 Rock was a fairly good show. I also feel the need to comment that if you avoid all actors that you disagree with/dislike personally, you won't really have much to watch in the end. And there is so little good television/movies out there these days to begin with.
However, I will say this - I think that he is a hypocrite and that's based in fact, not tabloid speculation or he said, she said. He claims to be a liberal, a democrat, and yet he did favour tax breaks for the film industry in New York (all from his own mouth). Supporting tax breaks for the rich, especially when he did (2009) is not consistent with the liberal ideology. Of course it was imminently self-interested of him, being quite wealthy and a member of the film industry. But in any case, it doesn't prevent me from enjoying the examples of his work that I think are good. It isn't like much of the money goes into his pockets anyway given the way I go about it.
