Fiona Is A Real Babe.

Hey folks,

I don't know how some here can say such nasty things about this gal. I can understand how folks could say they prefer blondes, redheads, or whaterver, but to say some of the things that have been said is just plain mean spirited.

After nearly fifty years of marriage to the same beautiful gal, and having two beautiful daughters, I would think I would have as much appreciation for female beauty as most other men. Considering that Gabrielle Anwar was born in 1970 as was my youngest daughter, I have a bit of a problem talking about her in simply sexual terms.

That does not, however, mean that I cannot look at Fiona and recognize her good looks. My wife also thinks she is very attractive, even if she is not quite as attractive as our two daughters. In my case, I would go so far as to say Fiona is a real babe.

Best wishes,
Dave Wile

You know, I'm going to agree with you. When I first started watching Burn Notice, I used to comment to my son's father that she looked like she might have had a little to much plastic surgery, but after a while she really grew on me and I now find her to be quite attractive. She's an acquired taste, I'd say.

Hey folks,

I saw "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" several week ago and never realized the beautiful Sonora Webster character was played by the same person who plays Fiona in "Burn Notice." Just a few days ago, while checking out "Burn Notice" on IMDb, I checked out the gal who plays Fiona, and I found a whole bunch of nasty threads about Gabrielle Anwar having once been beautiful but now being something far less.

Well, like I mentioned in my earlier post, I have been watching "Burn Notice" for a few years now, and I have always thought the Fiona character was very good looking, and as I said, I would call her a "babe." The name Gabrielle Anwar meant nothing to me - I did not remember ever seeing her in anything other than "Burn Notice." When reading all of the posts on the negative threads, however, I saw she was in "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken," and I remembered that I had seen it a few weeks ago. Several folks posting in the negative threads commented that she looked so pretty in that film compared to how bad she looks now.

Considering those comments, I set the DVR to record "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" again, and I just finished watching it for the second time. I now have some idea of why some folks made mention of the change in her looks from "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" to what she is today.

I have to admit that when I started watching the film today, I had some trouble recognizing Gabrielle Anwar as the same person who plays Fiona today. As the film progressed, however, I saw many of the same looks, smiles, and other characteristics that I see in the Fiona character today. The difference is really very simple to understand. When "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" was made, she was a young 20 year old girl just out of puberty, and she certainly was a very pretty young girl. This is now 21 years later, and Gabrielle Anwar is now a beautiful young woman 41 years of age.

Of course she is going to look different than she did when the film was made in 1991. We all get older, and we all get older looking in the process. Some of us do age better than others, but for those who would suggest Gabrielle Anwar has not aged well in the past 20 years, I would suggest getting their eyes examined.

When I first met my wife, she was about 21 years of age, and we married when she was 25. I thought she was the prettiest gal around. I never seemed to see either of us change from one day to the next, but as each 10 year anniversary came around, I could look at our older pictures and know we were getting older. In spite of that, I continued to find my wife the prettiest gal around. After almost 50 years now, I know time has beat us a bit, but I still think my wife is the prettiest girl around. As for Gabrielle Anwar's beauty at age 41, I still maintain she is a "babe."

Best wishes,

Hey David, it's me again.

We must be twins indeed, because I agree with you that Gabrielle Anwar is a "babe". I have watched every episode of "Burn Notice", and I think she is the sexiest actress on TV today, bar none. She is getting a little bit old for the traditional sex bomb, but she is plenty good-looking for me. The thing she has going for her though, is the way she moves. She slinks around in the most sultry manner, and that attitude of hers is very alluring. "Shall we shoot them?"

reply

Hey Larry,

Oh yeah, she is a babe. Her body shows long, defined muscles that are both graceful and exciting. And like you said, when she moves she is very sultry and alluring. As for her being too old for a traditional sex bomb, I'm not sure what to say about that. She sure looks sexy to me. Then again, remember I told you that I still think Sally Field is a doll even though she is about as old as I.

Best wishes,

Yes, she is. I am 74 and oh what it would have been like to have a lady like her in my life way back then. Fiona, I work with Leather [ see www.sugrbearleathers.com. I have a belt pouch that I would like to send you that I made, nothing is expected. This is a gift. Who knows maybe the director might let you wear it on one of the shows. Dear lord, who even watches "Burn Notice?" What a low rent pile of garbage.

Note that the one negative post is from a female. I'm guessing that she is jealous and that she just did not want to get into the "looks" argument.
