not to be mean but she was far from volptuous... she was skinny with no waist. voluptuous means curvy, big boobs, big thighs, etc like them:

You're not mean but you are terribly misguided. Did you or have you even bothered to look for old photos of Ann? LOL, well, if you had you would have seen several depicting her as being ACCURATELY voluptuous.

Actually Ann-Margret had rather full thighs and quite a backside. What she didn't have were especially large bosoms. She was always "pushed-up" in her early films (She and Natalie Wood must have had the same person designing their brassieres.)

But before A-M did "Carnal Knowledge" she acquired a nice set of implants. When some people questioned her new, very big, un-brassiered bosom she said she'd gained weight for the movie, and that's where it went! Of course after she lost weight, those puppies remained overwhelming. But, it worked for her Vegas image and costumes. She was a really gorgeous woman, with or without any enhancements.

She was about 20-21 in Bye Birdie. About 31 in Carnal Knowledge. Don't know about implants but she probably did put on about 10 pounds and all went where you'd want it to go. She is totally built in Carnal Knowledge. Thought about it for weeks. Girlfriend would see my faraway look and say " what are you thinking about?" Never told her Ann Margaret. So Ann- wherever you are, Thanks so much.

Sometime in the late 1960’s Ann Margret did have implants. When she made Viva Las Vegas in 1964, she measured a very nice but very average 34B up top. By the time she made Carnal Knowledge in 1970, she was a large 36D. Miss Margret was ahead of the game in another area(a private one). She was bare down there(waxed, shaved). Elvis loved that. In at least two scenes in Viva Las Vegas, when Miss Margret is in a bathing suit, a lovely cameltoe is visible.

Yeah, she was always known as being voluptuous from the beginnings of her movie career. She had a generous bosom and rounded backside right from the start, though I would say Raquel was a little more curvier of the '60s sex symbols.

She was so proud of her youthful figure that her trademark looks was black tights, with a sweater or shirt. She was small and slight but definitely had some curves, at least from the waist down!
