Back in the 90's, she played a working class mom whose family resided in a housing project in the 1950's. The location was the East coast, but I'm not sure which state it was set in. Anyhow, the mom eventually got a job at a department store, working at the cosmetic counter. The movie was very entertaining, does anyone remember it?
