He's PISSED that he has never grabbed an Oscar and at this point in his life he feels like he's only getting the kind of roles that he had outgrown a long time ago, the whole "i'm too mature for this immature *beep* !"

for him it must feel like being forced to dress and act like a clown for children for the rest of his life and pretend to like it for the rest his life (even if he gets paid money for it) with nothing beyond that

and it's been getting worse now that he's obviously not a young man anymore.
If he wants to win an Oscar, he should play a disabled, mulatto homosexual with AIDS, set in the 1980s.

Academy is a joke. Bruce Willis won his Golden Globe and I'd be more happy with that, actually think it's a much better award if you use brains instead of a posh popularity contest. Jim Carrey, one of the best actors of all time, never received an Oscar nomination. Meanwhile Jonah Hill already has 2. A joke. Or those movies that are clearly made as an Oscar bait. This recent 2015 awards were especially bad when it turned into a full feminism/anti-racism circus.

Well why does Bruce keep taking all the crap jobs then? He is worth $180 million, so it is not like he has to work, so he should be able to pick and choose what he works on at any time.

Maybe he could produce or direct a movie himself. That is something I would like to see.

What have you seen him in that deserved an Oscar? He never makes any big choices, which is good in that he never over-acts a character, but he's never blown me away with a performance. It doesn't help that 70% of his roles are some iteration of John McClain. He's a good actor, not great. Plus maybe you lose points with the academy if your an unapologetic a-hole
