Wahat were you doing whe you heard RW died?

I had just gotten off work and got home. My whole family was going to get together for dinner at my place. My mom, sister, and her kids were over wen my girlfriend saw on her newsfeed that RW died. We all thought it was some sick, twisted joke someone start online. But very soon we realized that it was anything but a joke. It really killed the mood for he evening, because it felt like a family member had died. We just ate in silence, and afterward, my girlfriend dug through our DVD collection. We put on the first RW movie we could find. That movie was TOYS. Not the greatest, but we had some scattered laughs that night as a result. But RW' death was such a shock that night that we couldn't believe it.

I'm so scared your little head will come off in my hands!

I was surfing tumblr when I found out. My first thought was "No..."

Soon after that I began collecting his movies like mad. I already had some of them, but I went RW movie crazy over the next few months. I'm with you, it's like a family member died. I haven't cried for any celebrity like I've cried for him.

I had just read an article about them doing a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel. Googled Robin Williams and all of a sudden I see a "breaking news" thing that he passed away. I'm still super sad when I remember he's gone :(

I was surfing the net on my phone and it popped up, I though "oh damn!"because I did not see it coming though I wasn't surprised.

I was on my way to parents house and when I told my mother that Robin had offed himself she thought I was being cheeky or pulling her chain.

It was a night that I'll remember for a long time my mother was a huge fan of robins.

I don't recall but I was in a daze of disbelief, shock, and dismay. Such a loving, giving, charming human being, with so much talent.

I was working on a project on the internet. I thought somebody had hacked my computer. It did not register what was going on until a couple of hours later.

I was working in the kitchen, and heard the news on Mark Levin's show. He sounded broken up about it, but was prepared to go back to talking about politics when he noticed the phones were lit up with people talking about Robin -- mainly servicemen who'd seen him doing USO shows. They spent the rest of his show -- the bulk of it, in fact, with people brokenheartedly talking about Robin and what he meant to them.

You will probably disagree. That's the nature of discussions -- they have two sides.

I was getting ready to go to a free movie screening and my phone was off at the time so I was checking Facebook one last time before I left and I saw it right there on my newsfeed I was so shocked, the rest of the day and even at the movie I was sad as hell, the next few days I watched a lot of his movies to remember him.

I was looking @ the news. I thought it was a joke--somebody had tampered with the internet. It did not register. I had grown up watching him. The idea of him dead was unfathomable.
