How does Uma feel about Poison Ivy being her most sexual role? Like did she partially take on the role knowing that Poison Ivy is a sex symbol and a character heterosexual men fantasize about?
shareI don't think that actors, especially when they're younger and still building their portfolio, really think about the role they're playing. At the time, it was a popular blockbuster that could have helped her career, so she took it.
I think they do put thought into the roles, but sometimes those thoughts are, as you say, more along the lines of, "This will boost my profile," than, "This is a sex-symbol role".
