I just read that... wow, she's slumming. For an Oscar winner, she should not be signing up for this kind of movie. the 8th installment??? Lots of Oscars winners and nominees have joined franchise movies. Ben Affleck is doing Batman. Kevin Spacey was in Superman. Helen Mirren was in the National Treasure sequel.

She just lost a lot of respectability in Hollywood, I would imagine. Wrong again! This franchise has made a ton of money. I bet she got some back end deal that other actors would love to get.

Now we can handle this like gentleman or we can get into some old gangster sh*t

Fast 8 also reunites her with her Italian Job director F. Gary Gray.

not exactly thrilled but hopefully she'll get a good character and not just a 'girl who kick some ass'. Plus, she'll get a very decent paycheck.

So for 2017 we'll have:
Fast 8 (action),
American Express (or The Nash Edgerton Project - indie drama/dark comedy?)
movie with Jason Reitman (drama/ comedy)

and maybe The Gray Man (action, thriller)
