Emotional for sure , but they didn't cry. I enjoyed seeing Charlize hugging and sort of dancing with Adèle.
About the standing ovation. Most of movies get a standing ovation in Cannes, it is the norm. What I think is that, hopefully, the movie will resonate with audiences but it will be a flop in countries like USA because the general effect of the critics in audiences.
