What was your FIRST Sly Stallone movie?

Not your favorite or his best but the first film of his that you watched.

He was my third favorite action hero growing up. After JCVD & Arnie.

My first film(s) of his were the Rambo trilogy. It used to be shown every Friday on a local channel. And boy did I love 'em

Never get tired of watching them. No matter how many times I saw them, I wanted more

Well, I saw Bananas (1971) in the theatre, which (uncredited) was his 4th film, but I did also see his 6th film, The Lords of Flatbush which he had a role in.

reply

Lords of Flatbush is a film that I have vague memories of. I honestly don't know if I've actually watched it or if someone just explained the movie to me.

But I feel like I know it.

Nighthawks
Great movie

reply

Nighthawks is one of my faves of his. Excellent film.

That is a good movie. Sly cross dressing at the end is silly, but a really good movie.

The scene worked I thought. Only way to kill Wulfgar

Cobra was dumb as fuck, with some of the dumbest one liners, but I loved it as a kid. I had it on tape and watched all the time.

reply

Rocky, but the best is Over the Top.

reply

Probably one of the Rocky films, I also remember watching Tango & Cash as a kid.
