Why hasnt this guy won a nobel peace prize? After anti-war movies like saving private ryan, empire of the sun and schindlers list he really should have one. Really shows how award shows doesnt really matter. The jury care more about politics than the quality of someones work.
shareHe deserves and has received every honor there is to receive , and rightfully so, in the realm of entertainment. But that being said, Look at the past winners of the Nobel Peace prize, many who risked their very lives in their actions to make the world a better and safer place. such as Malala Yousafzai-who was shot by the Taliban because she dared fight for the education of young girls in her homeland, people like her show an intrinsic bravery that Spielberg would be the first to admit he does not have, nor do most people who live on the Earth, it is their bravery and ethics that make them apropos to receive such an award.
Spielberg will never receive, nor does he deserve such an award, but he has the god given gift to make movies about these people ,and in so doing inspire millions to be like these shining examples of humanity.
