``Cocktail´´ is one of my favourite movies no matter what all those experts said! And since i saw this movie, Elisabeth Shue is my favourite actress. What a beautiful young woman she was in that film!!! My dream of a woman! And now she ist still a very beautiful woman!

shareI agree, jen. I loved the movie Cocktail, including Ms. Shue's role. I also enjoyed her in "Adventures in Babysitting" way back as a cutesy flick. I haven't seen her lately though, but it says in the info that she does have some stuff in production, so kudos to you, Ms. Shue. Us 40'somethin' gals gotta' stick together, ya' know! lol

shareTotally agree Jenscgrosser! Ms Shue is the best. I love Cocktail, especially Shue in it and the soundtrack! Some of her films have been a bit hit or miss, but still watch them since she's in them. Looking forward to Waking Madison, Hamlet 2 and Don McKay. Still need to see First Born (not available in UK), Leo (on my dvd rental list!) and Amy & Isabelle too.

Well yea i agree Elizabeth Shue's acting in this movie was average and i thought her character a little childish in a way but i thought she was very pretty. Tom Cruise and her had great chemistry.
