Elisabeth Shue should be in the big leagues(and not in tennis)

Elisabeth Shue should be in the big leagues of her career(and not in tennis). really thought that after the oscar nod for best actress for Leaving Las Vegaas(the oscar should've been hers IMO)her career would take off. She should be in the Julia Roberts leagues. Actually i thought her career would've taken off really in the 1980s after being in big hits such as The Karate Kid and Adventures in Babysitting(both movies being better than they're given credit for). I really hope Hope Springs will get her to where she belongs in her career. BTW she is soooooooo hot, always has been one of my faves in terms of hotness and acting ability.

Well, wobber1012, she is currently a regular on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Unfortunately, she hasn't been nominated for an Emmy.

i've never watched that show b4, but shame on the Emmy people. im more of a movie person myself. but i hope the movie and tv critics start to take notice of her more. maybe she needs a show on HBO, AMC or Showtime or even FX. CSI has been on for a long time. She needs to be on something like Mad Men or Damages or Breaking Bad or at least a really good tv mini-series.

I think the fact she has 3 young children and made them her priority is a good reason why she has made some of her choices, and putting her kids first is very commendable. I really like her on CSI but agree its unlikely to get her an Emmy nod. She apparently passed on The Good Wife which would have been good for her (reason being her kids again, but they are a little older now). I don't think Hope Springs will do much for her career as believe she has only a cameo type appearance in this, but House at the End of the Street will attract more notice with Jennifer Lawrence toplining, and also Chasing Mavericks with Gerard Butler.

underrated would be the term.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

The Karate Kid put her on the map. She became a star with Adventures in Babysitting. After Soapdish, she began to fade a little. Leaving Las Vegas oomes along and suddenly she's a star again.

After Leaving Los Vegas she should've been in lots of A-list films.

It's a real injustice.
