She was on that show "Who Do You Think You Are", about celebrities seeking their ancestry. She had kings and saints and nobility in her background. One who was born in the Louvre in Paris when it was still a palace!
It was interesting seeing her reactions; it would have been even more interesting if she didn't shoot up the botox and we were able to see the expressions in her eyes!

It's much easier to speculate that her family heralds from William, due to similar names and likelihoods, than it is to establish that lineage with reasonable certainty.
For instance, I have read that, speculating on the family names, there is reason to believe two separate family lines came across with William in the Norman Conquest. BUT - it's not substantiated at all.
Sure, I would like for the show to say "we have no proof but there's some chance you were descended from William the Conqueror". But, again, it also makes me wonder if, perhaps, they explored that possibility and found it more rumor and speculation than likely to be fact.
Plz do. I would be curious to see what their statements were.
