Well that's partly because of the numbers.

Fair or not, there ya go.

Wait a minute... who am I here?

That's because "gay sex" is by far the most common way of getting HIV. About 1 out of every 12 gay males in the US has HIV/AIDS, while it is only about 1 out of every 764 for everyone else.

Also, LOL @ "homophobe". Only idiots apply that word. Ironically, said idiots are unwittingly applying the "offensive" term "homo" whenever they use it:

ho·mo
offensive
noun
1.
a homosexual man.
It would be like someone who is purportedly anti-racism applying a word like "wetbackphobia". The guy who coined the meaning of "homophobia" that you are using, in the 1970s, was an idiot, and you're sharing in his idiocy by copying him.

I don't dance, tell jokes or wear my pants too tight, but I do know about a thousand songs.

I'm curious, what word would non-idiots apply to express the same meaning?

Explain exactly how using the word "homophobia" to express its generally accepted meaning makes one an idiot because the person who coined the meaning of the word was an idiot.

But that's so easy to explain..it's not because vaginal sex is less risky...it's just because people having vaginal sex use condoms more often than gays simply because they could get a woman pregnant, unlike with gay sex. But the risks are the same

reply

No, it's because the anus is far easier to tear during intercourse.

He who builds his house by the sea builds his life in the sand.

Anus is tight and an injure can more easily being caused in it than in vagina. You're talking about blood transmission. Any injury can cause transmission...we're not arguing that. But blood isn't the only way to give it to someone since vaginal fluid just like sperm can comtaminate. So to claim that the risks are less with vaginal sex is huge lie and ignorance. That simple.

reply

You are completely incorrect. It is much easier to transmit through anal sex. Do you actually believe that heterosexuals are all that great about condom use? Sperm and vaginal fluid CAN transmit it, but it is much less likely when compared to blood transmission. If there are no other risk factors, and that is not always the case, one would expect 7 transmissions from a woman to a man for every 10,000 occurrences of unprotected sex. It is MUCH easier for a woman to catch it from a man.

anal sex tens to cause more tears and thusly the tears on the giver and the recipient, which could lead to bleeding or at the very least rips that can let the person get easily infected.

Vaginal sex, is far less risky for the male.. since more likely than not unless the female is a virgin you likely aren't going to get any tears and outside of having any pre-existing sores from STD's or too much sex the infection rate would be next to nothing.

with that said, a female having sex with an HIV positive man unprotected is like 99% likely to get the disease. Since the male is likely to excrete fluids which will contain the disease.

What does that have to do with Charlie Sheen... while it doesn't prove he had homosexual sex, it does seem to suggest unless he has an STD (which with Charlie he probably does) he more than likely contracted it during some male on male contact.. also numerous males have come out and said they saw, or participated in sexual activity with Sheen...
