Was he a Great Governor?

I don't RECALL anything memorable except letting his friends son out of prison

By all accounts his tenure was unremarkable. I think some of his fiscal policies were judged as fails.

Still you gotta admire his effort.

He had more money than God, and could have easily enjoyed the life of a 1%-er without contributing anything to society. Unlike so many other Hollywood types who use their status as a platform to complain and whine about things on social media though, he actually stepped up to plate to give back to his adopted country.

I RESPECT HIM FOR MAKING THE EFFORT AND GIVING HIS TIME...BUT OVERALL HE WAS INEXPERIENCED AND LACKLUSTER.

No.

I find it funny so many people hate the things Arnold did as governor and say he ruined California but they don't look at the fact California's state government was in several billion dollars of debt. And the people responsible for that debt are the politicians in California who had been getting the state into that debt decades before Arnold ever became governor. But no. Let's blame Arnold as governor and be mad that he cut funding to things when the state was billions in debt. I mean it goes without saying but you don't get out of debt without cutting funds to things. Why do so many people ignore this?

He tried to be a good governor. There's a lot of luck involved trying to spin cracked platters.
