She's so annoyingly self-righteous

(Long post. I understand most won't read it.)

Well, I guess all self-righteous people are annoying. But I'm really annoyed by her self-righteousness. And yes, I'm referring to the way she acted this political cycle. I get that people have discussed it already, but I just need to speak my peace. I was going to let it go, but I just watched her interview with Chelsea Handler, and UGH! I wanted to put my fist through the TV.

There was one interview she gave (I really wish I could find it, but I remember seeing it) where she sort of exposed why she hates Hillary so much, but I'll mention that in a bit.

I find her to be such a fake Progressive Liberal, regardless of how much she claims to be one. I have no problem with her throwing so much devotion and support behind Bernie Sanders. But I don't understand how she could still be so disgustingly vile when the Democratic platform incorporated so many of Bernie's ideas and greatly compromised with him on others. Instead of realizing that, she practically supported Trump. And NO, I'm not saying that because she didn't vote for Hillary (though technically I guess I don't know who she voted for, but I think it's a safe bet it wasn't Hillary based on things she said about her). But she was never rightfully critical of Trump--even though Trump is literally the most extreme antithesis of Bernie. And now that Trump has won (*shudder* *gag* *vomit*) it's almost like she can't say anything negative about him, but has plenty of negative things to say about anyone in the Democratic party.

For example, in her Chelsea interview, she was primarily talking about DAPL. I'll be the first to say I'm glad she's trying to bring more attention to it; it deserves to be covered more extensively. However, she was so quick to blame Hillary, Obama, and even Elizabeth Warren for it not getting attention. (What?) Even when it was said that Obama has now done something to hopefully put a stop to drilling, still nothing but criticism. All she could say was, "Yeah, now." At least give him a tiny bit of credit for doing anything. But she literally didn't criticism Trump at all for likely telling the construction crew to continue drilling when he gets in office because he has ties to the oil company who wants it done.

She even said his election is fine because, according to her, "it's a great time to be alive." Literally wtf. One of her reasonings for this is that you get to love who you want to love. Well, miss *beep* crazy, once this new administration is in, that won't be true anymore. She literally makes no sense to me. If you support Trump and you were open about it, I vehemently disagree with you, but at least you were honest about who you are. She just seems so fake to me. She can't claim to be such a progressive liberal yet appear perfectly fine or make excuses for a Trump presidency.

Now back to that interview I mentioned. (Like I said, I can't think of it right now, but I think it was for some random website, maybe.) She was saying how she was all buddy-buddy with Hillary, but then something changed. She said when Hillary was Secretary of State, she (Susan) was giving Hillary advice what to do in certain national and global situations and that Hillary ultimately did the opposite. And Susan said that's when she realized she couldn't "trust" Hillary. Excuse me, bitch, but what? As Sec. of State, Hillary was the third most powerful person in this country (second most powerful, depending on who you ask, as some say Sec. of State has more authority than the VP). You're some Hollywood actor. You may not agree with certain decisions, but why do you think you, as some semi-relavent actor, should be dictating to our Sec. of State what to do in matters of global importance. It was literally all ego and narcissism on her part. That's why she stopped supporting Hillary--because Hillary wouldn't allow her to tell her how to do her job.

Sorry for the longwinded post, but that's how much she gets under my skin. The stupidity, fakeness, and self-righteousness is STRONG with this one.
