For most of the nineties, Meg Ryan was the undisputed queen of romantic comedies. As such, she was one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood. But Ryan never quite seemed comfortable with her celebrity status. Perhaps that is why Sharon Stone appeared on the cover of the June 1993 issue of Movieline despite the fact that Ryan was undeniably a bigger star.
