Well now she is going to be on a TV show...so I guess her box office is no longer questionable. She can't bring people in to see her movies on the big screen. Her try at a Broadway play failed BIG TIME, so now she's trying TV. I am guessing the woman needs the money, after all she is supporting her household and her husbands household. (Danny moved into a home across the street, that Julia bought.)

And now she’s doing L’Oreal commercials. She’s at last found her true level.

I never found her to be a Pretty Woman.

Why has Julia Roberts' career gone down within the last 10-15 years?

Her films didn't hit - Julia Roberts made a string of films that did not earn a profit at the box office from the late 1990s until now. If you don't earn, you get pushed out of the spotlight.

Her range was always limited - She can't do comedy, she's not a Shakespearean, and she was unbelievable as an action star. Basically light drama was her wheelhouse and she wasn't able to expand upon that.

She eschewed television until it was too late - Roberts' career could have been assisted by a limited run television series on a premium cable network 10–15 years ago. She seems to have decided against that and when she did decide to do a streaming series, it didn't attract the interest that she wanted or needed.

Her salary demands - No one is interested in paying her what she made in the 1990s and early 2000s. She hasn't had a hit since Pret-a Porter, and that was more than a decade ago. There were younger and cheaper female actors besides Roberts, so they got the roles she might have.

She doesn't seem to want to trod over old ground - She was very successful when she teamed with Richard Gere, Hugh Grant, and Denzel Washington, but she doesn't seem to want to return to where lightning struck in the past. Unfortunately for her, given her recent lack of success and her salary demands, she really needed to make some hard decisions a decade or so ago and she didn't.
