should've been nominated for an Oscar for Pretty in Pink, GG at least

Molly Ringwald should've had an oscar nomination for best actress for Pretty in Pink. she shows so much in some scenes with just her eyes alone and especially the scene where she confronts Blaine about the prom. also the scene where she breaks down about her mom and in the principal's office. also should've had an nomination for The Breakfast Club.

at least she should've gotten a Golden Globe nomination for those movies.

anyone else agree?

I think she was golden globe worthy in both 16 CANDLES & PRETTY IN PINK.

I DEFINITELY think she should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The Breakfast Club. Hate that the MTV movie awards weren't around then, yeah they're not so prestigious, but she would have had 3 consecutive wins for Best Actress.

She was only 15 when 16 Candles was filmed. Anyway, I think that her best performance is in Pretty in Pink.
