She had such a promising start with The Addams Family, Sleepy Hollow, Buffalo 66, but hasn't had a great role or even appeared in a great movie since Sleepy Hollow. I mean, Bucky Larson and Smurfs 2?? She couldn't break into TV either.
Did she get typecast as Wednesday and femme fatales?
I'm not hating, I really like her and want to know what happened.

She could have a great career playing the smarmy evil b*tch but she wanted to go the leading lady road, got plastic surgery which totally ruined her face, is currently anorexic, went blonde and her career went away too.

Saw her last night on "Cursed" and "Black Snake Moan" -- looks great -- buck dunno what happened to her career.
She still can have her big break. It´s not like she´s not working and she still looks young. It´s just a shame Hollywood have so little roles for women and consider only successful A lister which is a very small bubble. IT´s our fault for always prefer style and popularity over substance.
sharethat's a myth I think; there is plenty of work for females. She made bad decisions in the early 2000's and got a bit unlucky I think. Hopefully she can get a big break but I can't see it happening. She has a child now as well so may be content with a 'lesser' career.
shareIf you look at Christinas career, she has always done movies that she has wanted to do. Its just by luck and timing that shes done movies that made her a household name. She hasnt been one of those actresses who does not all care about hollywood labeling. My guess is Christinas career always make movies that will either be a hit or miss. Shell always be relevant to people who watched her growing up though.
