Yeah, I'm not a big fan of women who chop off their hair and make it look boyish. Like you said, it kinda robs them of their beauty and femininity, if if that's an actual word.
On a few women, short hairdos work, but usually it's something like a fluffy style, or something that frames their face (which would be beautiful to start with). Two movie characters that come to mind are Alice Cullen and Black Widow. See, in the first "Twilight" movie, Alice looked cute with that hairdo. It gave her character. In the case of Black Widow (particularly in the first "Avengers" movie), the chin-length red curls worked for her. They framed her face and fit her active, crazy lifestyle. Granted, I did like Ms. Romanov with longer hair, but she kept changing it in every movie, so it was hard to pin her with any one look.
But on many women, the pixie cut doesn't work at all. I got sick and tired of seeing Snow White in her Storybrooke persona with that awful boyish haircut when watching "Once Upon A Time," and even worse, after the curse was broken, she made no move to fix that hairdo at all! The chopping off of Triss's hair was especially jarring in "Insurgent," but I hated that movie series anyway. The red-haired director on "NCIS" looked like a dyke when she got her hair in a pixie cut. It was as if she'd gotten her hair cut by an inexperienced barber, and then stuck her finger in a wall socket.
Sadly, I've gotten a lot of flak for talk about that, but I'm not gonna quit just because a few people got offended. It looks like crap, and nothing they say is gonna change that.

the fact is it only works on like 5% of girls. i always find it hard to believe that marilyn monroe usually had short hair because i always picture her with long blonde hair. maybe it's just that i know that long hair is more beautiful than short hair on girls so i always imagine marilyn having long hair. but that's the thing right there i know long hair looks better than short hair 95% of the time.
say what you want, we need to get our rights of free speech back in this country, us. no to pc. it's unamerican. as long as you don't hurt someone's feelings say what you want. i sometimes wonder how comedians make it nowadays in america with this way too sensitive social environment which is weird though bc with social media there's a lot of ways to get in trouble saying something. this combination is weird bc it makes you wonder how celebrities are not pariahs in america.

I've been on here for almost 2 years, so of course I'm going to have lots of messages. However, I can't compete with a completely nutty mongrel on here, that shall remain nameless. They have 10,000 more than I do, mostly from spewing text diarrhea on the politics board 50x a day.
