didn't realize his height!

Im watching Playing By Heart and him and Angelina Jolie were practically the same height. I never thought of angelina being freakishly tall and was under this assumption Ryan was over 6ft tall.

My mind is blown that he's 5'9

He says 5'10" but what's an inch. 5'9" or 5'10" is his height. Angie says she is 5'7". But women wear heels.

BTW 5'10"=Johnny Depp & Matt Damon

Height is a sensitive subject for many male actors, just like dress size is for females. George Clooney says he is 5'11" yet stands a couple inches shorter than Brad Pitt who says HE is 5'11". Some men wear lifts. Tom Cruise is famous for religiously trying to disguise the fact that he is 5'5" yet claims to be 5'7"

You could go onto the sites where they discuss the heights of celebrities and see how some people lose their minds over the subject.

It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.

He looks taller on secrets and lies, I was surprised to read he was 5'9" not that there is anything wrong with that. But he looks tall on camera.

A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything.

First off, I agree with you, I thought Ryan was closer to 6'. But after watching Secrets and Lies, when he stood next to the actresses who played his wife, and older daughter, he was surprisingly close to their height; and I'm talking about in shots where the actresses were wearing tennis shoes, Ked's or some sort of flats.

Next, Angelina Jolie is not Freakishly tall; she's tall 5'6"-5'7". And, 5'9-5'10" is on the shorter side of average for an American male, adult.

I think I made it. Did you miss it, or just take a moment to be glib, or better yet, you couldn't help yourself, right? Because trust me, either or, that's all you did.

Yes, I was. This is the Internet, and information/fan based Cinema and TV board; I can be long winded, if I'd like. You don't necessarily have to read my long winded replies or posts.

Uhhh...No, it isn't. 5'9"/5'10" is the average height for American adult men. Do you really think that the average American male is 6' and over?
