Any thoughts on new projects??

So what do ppl think her next move will be??

Another break, or does anybody think another project is on the horizon??

Being part of a board of directors is not a full time job so she's got plenty of time to spare...

Thoughts??

Hopefully she'll manage to squeeze in another project this year but can see her taking a few months off and she will have a lot of press to do this year. Not sure if her TV project will get off the grounds and we'll hear about that. Would love seeing her play Amy Adams mum in Sharp Objects as that is meant to be a juicy role.

I bet Valle will cast Kidman in that Sharp Objects role since they just worked together. Amy Adams is a Pfan, though so ya never know.

I can see Pfeiffer taking some time off and I wouldn't blame her at all. I think once her four new projects come out and (hopefully) are well received, that will just open up even more opportunities for her. Things certainly look far better for her career now. It looked dire there for a while(The Family, Dark Shadows, NYE)

I would love to see her as Evangeline Lilly 's mother in Ant Man And The Wasp, it could be a funny and very different character.
And why not joining her friends De Niro, Pacino and Scorsese in The Irishman ?

reply

If The Irishman EVER happens!!

I haven't read The Irishman, have you guys? Is there a semi-big female character/role?

I'd be thrilled if Scorsese directs a film with a juicy role for an actress again, but I don't see it happening any time soon. And if it does, Streep will probably kill to get it, lol. She's been campaigning to work with him for a while now.

With so many male character there must be a juicy female character, even if it's a supporting role, I would love to see Michelle in this movie.
I guess she would better accept a small part for her next project because she will probably be tired after the long shooting of Orient Express

I bet she will take a break after filming four in a row (who would have ever predicted that?) and see how they are received. If she gets great reviews and some awards love in the fall, she would be positioned - at long last - to get first dibs on the best scripts and directors. Or so one would hope. Now that the kids are out of the house, she has nothing keeping her from accepting a great role anywhere in the world. I just hope the films she has in the pipeline measure-up.
