Your Favorite Role? Your Favorite Movie?

My favorite is Hudson in Aliens. I enjoyed many of his movies, but have to say Aliens.

I have to give an honorable mention to Frailty. One of the best thrillers I've ever seen. Completely underrated.

I liked him in Aliens and Predator 2.

Bill's role in "Twister" is highly underrated, although he was also great in "True Lies" and "Apollo 13" too!

I think it was the nature of 'Twister' itself rather than his role. I've watched it way too many times Because of him while enduring Hunt.

Good points all around! You know it's funny. For years, I always thought that Paxton had the lead role in this film only to find out years later that it was actually Hunt that headlined it! No matter....as she is also a great actress as well, although it would be nice to see her make a comeback again.

In any case, I thought that Paxton and Hunt were a perfect fit for this film and would've actually liked to see them together for just one more film (which is what Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock did years later after their blockbuster hit "Speed" (1994) ). But alas, that will sadly never happen again now. :(

I don't see that happening. She had some pretty bad cosmetic surgery done to her face. Helen looks like a completely different person nowadays.

As for the original subject: Twister (1996). Hands down. Bar none.

Really, I love Bill in everything, even the small role of a punk in The Terminator (1984). The guy can turn what potentially could be a bad movie and make it fun for the general viewing audience.

"Game over, man. Game over!"

I'm spending the afternoon watching some Paxton films I've not seen. I just watched The Vagrant, and I'm now watching The Dark Backward. They're both weird and over the top in a good way, which is the way I liked him best.

My fav is Aliens, of course, but my second favorite role of his was A Simple Plan. Love that movie.

I won't list my absolute favs, as I liked each role and movie. I thought he lit the screen up. Our fav actors will do that.
