Hmmm-music-tick (although I've never been a fan)
Lights-tick (although I've never seen her stage shows)
But action?.. She's a terrible actress... I've just watched her (again) in A League of Their Own, IMHO her best ever role, and, apart from the dance scene, she's nothing to write home about in that, either... I remember her as being better than she actually was... Discuss...

I am one of the few that liked this movie and I think it was her best role.

Her best acting:

1. Dangerous Game (1993) - even brilliant acting!
2. Evita (1996)
3. The Next Best Thing (2000) - mostly the 2nd part of a movie
4. Desperately Seeking Susan (1985), A League of Their Own (1992), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989) - all tied

5. Dick Tracy (1990) - wooden but I still like it

Evita hands down. She should at least have gotten a nod from the Academy.

She was great in Evita but I think she was even more impressive in Dangerous Game (1993)

That movie was a bit monotonous but overall, she did a brilliant job in it. Unfortunately, she had numerous conflicts with its director Abel Ferrara and she hated her own character. She said her character was "too weak". That's sad

I was one of the few who appreciated the entertaining & profound "Swept Away" (2002).

And, no, I'm not joking.
