Starring in films like "The boy next door" and the countless generic rom-com isn't going to do anything for her already dying "acting" career

I like her but have to disagree. She is the most over rated actress and I don't think she will ever be taken seriously as long as she is a singer. Songs like I Love You, Papi!!

Did watch part of one show. Her performance was laughable

She's a splendid actress who has gotten plenty of kudos from the right people and the highest praise from the highest sources. Shades of Blue is testament to that -- great ratings and no lack of excellent reviews. The Boy Next Door was a tremendous success despite its trashy nature, but that worked if you will allow. She was also very good in Lila & Eve.

Her career is in a good place in every possible way. That's easy to appreciate -- unless you're someone who comes onto a Jennifer Lopez page to say how much you don't like Jennifer Lopez.

Very funny post!!! It's a joke, right? Her acting career is DEAD and so is her músic career

Johnny's always hilarious. "Splendid actress?" That's funnier than Rodney Dangerfield. And what's the funniest joke is that he actually believes it! He comes onto j-low boards to try to prop her up. Never works, though, because anyone with a brain knows how mediocre and classless she is.

If she is so "splendid" why is her ROtten tomatoes profile so ROTTEN. Why she hasn't starred un a good film in décades? Why is she only considered for insipid rom coms and B movies?
