What do you think her best movie is?

Oh, yeah...I forgot about Eyes Wide Shut. Great movie. It's been a while since I watched The Others. Never seen The Hours.

I saw Cold Mountain in the theater. I liked it but I didn't love it. Did not like Zellweger as some hay-seed, Kid was too breathless, strong and vulnerable, and Jude was incredibly brave to find his way all the way back to Cold Mountain. Especially if you have to kill a couple people on the way.

The HOURS is definitely a MASTERPIECE of storytelling and NICOLE also SHINES BIGTIME in that film.

The scene where she examines the DEAD BIRD that her young niece found is chilling due to the way the character also knew she'd also be the same way pretty soon after putting the ROCKS into her pockets before she walks into the river at the end.

And The good-bye letter that she wrote to her husband (which is contained in the link below) that is read at the ending is also extremely heartbreaking especially when you consider how we now better understand her BI POLAR illness and have meds that can control it:

Destroyer! Just kidding but it's definitely in the top 5. I just saw the film so may be biased.

Another vote for The Others.

Agreed ! Hadn't thought of this movie for a while, but when I first saw it, I was riveted. It's very bright but has a very small filming area. It's very taught. Great thriller !

Hard to say since her filmography is pretty dismal.

Good actress. Horrible taste in movie roles.

But, if I must choose, I'll go with "Far and Away."
