Nominated for Critics' Choice

This is Kidman's sixth critics choice awards nomination, first for Supporting actress.

She was last nominated in 2011 for Rabbit Hole and she last won in 1995 for "to die for".

I'm glad these are happening and the RT score is steady and you're finally on board with Lion:)

It's awesome to see her nominated for so many things and getting such good publicity.

I'm not on board with anything, I only deal with facts and I've stated them as such and yes as a Nicole Kidman fan it does bring me some level of joy.

I will know what to think of Lion after I've watched it myself.

I still believe that Kidman might not be nominated for an academy award, however her chances have slightly improved due to recent developments.

I will know further of her chances as the awards season matures.

Go get that Oscar nom!

So the glad to see the movie get such a push up the ladder from the Critics.

unfortunately it missed out with the Washington Film Critics association. I don't know how important they are. The only noms it got there was for screenplay and best young performer. Molly Shannon snuck in to the best supporting actress category and I actually think she is a dark horse and the one to watch.

There is always a surprise in supporting actress, always. That's why we can't take anything for granted until we see Nicole's pic and name in the academy award announcements.

It would be so great for Kidman to break her three nomination tally.

i just have this feeling that Molly Shannon might get in. Of course that doesn't mean Nicole won't get in too. We just don't now exactly how its gonna line up. The golden globe and sag noms will obviously make things a lot clearer.

I want Nicole to get that elusive 4th nomination as much as anybody.
