Blossom Films buys the Novel the Expatriates

By the author of The Piano Teacher. Three expat women coming to Hong Kong and trying to make it work. One of them greiving over her third child, the other bit on the young side. Word is Kidman wants to develop a series and possibly star. She seems confident that BLL will be a success. But, again, a story about three women? Isn't Truly Madly Guilty also similar to BLL?

must say the premise doesn't really grab me but she does seem to have a good instinct for these things. Posters everywhere for BLL in new york this week. Its been getting some great reviews. Im pretty darn excited about seeing it.

Btw i finally watched Nocturnal Animals tonight and thought it was a very accomplished piece of film making.
