I completely agree with you on all points EXCEPT Elizabeth Hurley is taller (5'9") and it's reported that she weighs 125 pounds. So, dear Liz, Marilyn was NOT fat, at all!!

I happen to know that Liz is not anywhere NEAR 5'9"! I am 5'8" and have stood next to Carolyn Murphy of Estee Lauder and she is slightly taller than me. Carolyn also is MUCH taller than Liz so, if Carolyn is 5'9", at most, Liz is under 5'9".
None the less, Marilyn Monroe was FAR FROM fat. Liz comes up with some good ones, doesn't she?

Thank you for the correction. I got Elizabeth Hurley's height from our good friends at imdb.com. Her weight I got from another website. The next time you stand next to Liz, give her a GOOD pinch on the arse for me! Tell her it's from Barry Fleckmann, who worships the ground she walks on!!

I actually have not stood next to Liz, only Carolyn Murphy-the blond who replaced Liz as the Estee Lauder spokesmodel. Actually, Carolyn, Liz, Hilary Rhoda, and Gwyneth Paltrow are Estee Lauder's "Spokesmodels". Even though I have only stood next to Carolyn, from pictures-Carolyn appears to be about an inch taller than Liz. So, I know Carolyn is AT MOST 5'9" which would make Liz under 5'9". Still, Liz is very beautiful but I never have been too crazy about the "If I were as Fat as Marilyn Monroe, I'd kill myself, too", comment. Anyway, she may have said it in jest-I am pretty sure she did-She's a Gemini but still, it was in poor taste.

I do love both Liz and Marilyn, and neither are or were fat.

I really don't understand this talk about Marilyn being fat and being a size 14 and acting as if she's some kind of big boned woman when she wasn't!!! Obviously sizes are not the same as they were back then since shrinking *clothing* sizes and making some women think they were actually smaller than they were was basically to sell more of their clothing. That's why these stupid size zero and DOUBLE ZERO (like what the heck is that really???) exist. If Marilyn Monroe lived in our lifetime she probably would wear a size 4 or 6 clothing.
