It wasn't just the plastic surgery - she's not known to be the nicest woman. Helen Hunt pretty much killed her own career by being such a nightmare. Ditto Katherine Heigl.

The problem is that there are only so many films that will pay their salaries - and they refuse to do TV which could work out very well for them. Demi Moore is another unemployed actress who could work if she truly wanted to. But not for a ton of money.

The actual phrase you meant was “extra ordinary,” which describes her nonentity performances perfectly. “Extraordinary” means the exact opposite of what she was, and please pay attention to the tense I am using.

I'm confused. The link in TMC's post refers to Meg Ryan so I don't understand how this applies to Ms Hunt. I admit that it's been quite a while since I've seen a performance of hers. I've always liked her. I first remember her playing Murray Slaughter's daughter on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Oh well, it's late so maybe I'm missing something.
