It's not about punishing her, it's about too many people failing to understand that what she did was inexcusable and horrible and instead cry their eyes out for her, in complete disregard of what she did.

There's really no point in talking about "fault", now that she died a horrible death. If she was at fault she arranged a punishment for herself that was worse than even assholes like you could have hoped for, so the only sane thing to do at this point is let go of any pointless anger directed at a dead person.

As for fault or not, you may have heard that people have "manic episodes". FYI a person in a manic episode a person is typically filled with boundless energy and lose all sense of limits , to a person in the throes of mania *everything* seems like a good idea! Throwing all one's money away, playing in the traffic, gang-bangs, taking a one-way flight to see the sights of the Ukraine, it all seems like THE GREATEST IDEA EVER, because the neurotransmitters are out of whack and the brain isn't working properly. It's a horrible disease and as dangerous as hell to the person who has it, because what happens when your malfunctioning brain tells you it'd be hilarious to take a bottle of vodka for a 100MPH drive through the suburbs? Yeah, this happens.
