Linda Hamilton says she’s been celibate for 15 years
I know people like that. One of them gave me a good explanation in his case, which I think may apply to most people who do that: he had been in a few relationships in the past, including a 5 years relationship. He says that they were all shitty and he feels more free alone and he likes that. He approaches the 10th years of being single. He says that he simply lost interest in relationships because he didn't have really good ones because they were all full of issues.
I personally would never be able to do that. I can be single for a while after a breakup to taste my freedom and have sex with a few gals. But eventually I don't feel good and want to be with someone again.
On another hand, I'm right now in my first great relationship. I've been with her a more than a year and can still, sometimes, refeel this feeling of new romance with her. I had been with one ex for 2 and a half year and, honestly, now I really don't why why I stayed with her for so long. She actually did give me a disgust of relationships for a while.
Anyways, bottom line: apparently there are people who are perfectly fine alone because they don't have to deal with any of the bullshit that can come with a relationship.
Why do we care about all this? This is about Hamiltonshare
... I tried to explain her possible mentality. This is just the way I explain things, I like giving personal examples of people I know or my personal experiences to deepen my argument.
I really don't see how my post could have generated or deserved a vile response. But well, I'm getting used to internet. Btw, you're the one who decided to read it, no one forced you.
Cool story, bro but this thread ain't about YOU and 4 paragraphs about your non existent love life will put people to sleep.share
I guess, you are the same guy? On multiple accounts?share
IM JUST ME....SOLO..THAT WAS FUNNY AS FUCK THOUGH.share
It was pathetic actually, but I can see how someone can be triggered by my post: a person must be a) a troll or b) an insecure virgin living in his mom's basement .
And just for the info (not that it matters): if you guys can read (which I highly doubt) my post wasn't even about me.
Ah and funny? Yes. Hahahahaha. Best joke ever.... *eyes roll*

She must go through a ton of batteries!share
Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem too strange for women with children & grandchildren, several times divorced & in their 50s and certainly 60+ to more or less "retire" from sex even if there are plenty of certified geriatrics who continue on banging it out way longer than they probably should.share
It's not just you.share
Even younger. I know many young women (20s, 30s, 40s) who are celibate, too. Both single and divorced. They're not looking for a boyfriend nor care to have one.
Just an aside, I listened to the Howard Stern radio show when Howard was fascinated by co-host Robin's lack of a sex life. The men on the show couldn't believe how easy it was for a woman to remain celibate for years at a time.
I may get in trouble for this, but the sex drive may just be stronger in men.
