She looks ridiculous with that awful new hairstyle of hers!

I am the last person on the planet to dog Whoopi Goldberg about her looks. She was the only A-List black actress of the 1980s other than Grace Jones who wasn't afraid to proudly wear her ethnicity on her sleeve and defy Hollywood convention.

But sorry, this, time around, there is no defending this horrible white yarn hairstyle someone decided to prank her with. It is not exotic, cool, unconventional or unique. It is pure, unadulterated crap. At best, it looks like she's cosplaying as one of the creepy Ghost Twins from The Matrix. At worst, it looks like a Komondor just sat on her head.

And please, no ignorant wannabe Africans who've never set foot in any African nation rant at me that it's "traditional." African hair braiding and threading is drop dead gorgeous. It doesn't look anything like...this. This looks cheap and pathetic, and it doesn't flatter her complexion at all.
