I love Rat Race! But yeah, in about 2003. Still, she came back with an acclaimed Broadway show, HBO special, and guest starring roles on popular TV comedies like Everybody Hates Chris and 30 Rock. But after all her lead roles in films to doing mostly voiceover work was a bit of a shame, and unfortunately her well-received sitcom was cancelled because of its political bent. When she accepted The View it kind of solidified though, because she doesn't have time to do much, if any, other film, stage or television work, and subsequently she became more known for her antics and opinions on that show than for her immense talent. Still, I think she can bounce back slowly. Whilst For Colored Girls, wasn't lauded, her performance received great reviews, and the critically acclaimed, Oscar-winning, box office smash hits The Muppets and Toy Story 3 came out recently, in which she had small roles.
