Why do liberals make excuses for actual felons
and have it in for this guy sooooo much?
The left has either been ignoring the riots, and defending them in some cases, wants felons to have voting rights, wants to get rid of police, etc., but Mell Gibson is where they draw the line. Why is every crime forgivable in their eyes except racism?
And racism by a man diagnosed as bi-polar and is a legitimate alcoholic. George Floyd, who absolutely did not deserve to be murdered, put a gun to a pregnant woman's head and is being memorialized. I'm not even defending anything Gibson has done, but when you look at the facts they speak for themselves. He has at least two mental illnesses. He's worked with Danny Glover (black), Richard Donner (Jewish), Jodi Foster (lesbian) almost all of whom have spoken out on his behalf. Whoopi Goldberg, an extremely liberal black woman, has defended him. But his detractors think they know more about him than his friends and colleagues.
Christ, Alec Baldwin called his own daughter a pig and assaulted a photographer and he's beloved. But Mel? Nope, can't forgive him.
