Stumbled upon this movie I think Friday night. Were not big Versace fans or anything but did remember the murder so decided to try the movie.
Wow, I thought Gina was brilliant in a very tough role. It could have gone bad easy playing such an over the top personality like Donatella.

impressed with Gina Gershon's performance as Donatella Versace.
She did in a truly splendid and convincing acting role along
with Enrico Colantoli as her brother Gianni. I hope to see
her be nominated for an emmy or ace award next year!

I just saw the film and I agree that her performance was definetely worthy of an award. Her work in House of Versace confirms her depth as a character actress. She is so underappreciated in the industry. Her beauty is classic and timeless. I dont think I've seen a performance yet that I didn't love. Whether she's the protagonist or the antagonist she has a way of absorbing the her characters and leaves me wanting to see more of her work.
